A new pop up wine bar, Pluma Noche, will be joining DC’s illustrious ranks on Friday, November 23rd. The space is inside Pluma by Bluebird Bakery and will operate 3 nights a week directly following the end of the day for Pluma.
The wine bar is the brainchild of two long time Somms in the DC scene, Omar Hishmeh (Bistro Bis, Vidalia, Woodward Table) and Bryan Smith (Bistro Bis, Fiola Mare & Prequel). These two have shared many a bottle in their more than decade long friendship and love nothing more than sharing these discoveries with all of you.
The selection will be curated and change weekly to reflect both what has been on their minds and also what is new that has come their way. We look forward to be a part of the burgeoning culinary scene around Union Market and the NOMA neighborhood.
In addition to the printed by the glass list, there will be offerings by the bottle, a few Coravin items and many daily surprises. A concise menu of snacks and small plates will be available, these will consist of Charcuterie, Cheese and some items from Pluma’s daily menu.
We look forward to spending time with friends old and new and sharing our love of wine.
