Pluma is a brand new café concept from the folks behind the acclaimed Bluebird Bakery. After providing Washingtonian restaurants and cafes with signature, high-quality wholesale pastries for years, proprietors Camila Arango and Tom Wellings will expand to open their new cafe in 2017.
Arango and Wellings share extensive experience as pastry chefs and kitchen execs in several cities including Washington, New York, and Tyson's Corner, where they met while baking side-by-side at Maestro at the Ritz Carlton. A blending of backgrounds, styles, and offerings, Pluma by Bluebird Bakery will continue to serve our devoted wholesale customers while adding a stylish environment and delicious all-day menu for residents and visitors of D.C.’s up and coming Union Market district.
